The client's individual needs are supported by our competent and experienced staff with integrity, respect and special attention to the client's home, household items and cherished heirlooms. A free consultation and evaluation is provided for all our clients. All items are offered in a pleasing arrangement and displayed to their best advantage for salability. All specialty items are researched using our extensive reference library to realize current market value.  We can arrange for a charity donation at no cost to the client, which may include a written itemized tax deduction statement for the client depending on the charity of choice.

Silver Lining Estate Sales continues to work for the client after the sale has ended. Trash is properly disposed of and we can arrange for a final clean out and disposal of unwanted items leaving the home clean, awaiting the new homeowners.

Liquidations

Once an estate has been evaluated, a signed contract must be received seven days prior to any liquidation date. After the contract is received, advertising and set-up can begin. Generally, one week is required to properly prepare an estate for liquidation. Most estate sales are two-day events, held Friday and Saturday, but adjustments can be made.

After the sale, all small sale merchandise is removed and photos sent. Within 7-10 days of the sale, proceeds from the sale and an itemized inventory of items sold will be mailed out Certified Mail.
