Silver Horse Antiques
Vegas never ceases to amaze me, it like's a scratch & win lottery ticket. In my line of work I come across the most interesting people here. It makes me cringe when I hear BAR (Born And Raised) Las Vegans talk about how boring our city is. I'm always finding stuff that amazes me.
I recently had a job that put me in contact with Leslie Bell, from Appraisals, Las Vegas. http://appraisalslasvegas.com/. Leslie is simply amazing. I've never met anyone so smart and knowledgeable about antiques. What this woman knows is just BEYOND! She recently appraised the Stardust sign for the Neon Boneyard in Downtown Las Vegas. And by the way, if you haven't been there, you really need to go. http://www.neonmuseum.org/
Neon Boneyard, Las Vegas
I could listen to Leslie all day, the things she knows! Leslie has had an antique store in Las Vegas for over 30 years and is on the original Antique Row on Charleston. And guess what?! She is renovating and getting ready for a grand re-opening! And...she let me peek inside!!! Below are a bunch pictures, just check out the eye candy!
Vintage Lipstick Case Collection
Yup, he's real...relax...
Gorgeous Leslie in the pristine vintage clothing collection
Just a teensy snippet of the costume jewelry, I was drooling
Vintage cupping
Look at this! It's a playing card press from when cards were made of paper
Ladies & Gentlemen, this is just the bathroom in the store!
So while I still have you drooling, I'm going to stop posting and urge you to keep your eyes and ears open for Silver Horse Antiques Grand Re-Opening...I'll be sure to send out an email to our mailing list.
